FAQ

Q: Can I bring a date?
A: Ooh la-la. Your invite will indicate if we can accommodate a plus one for you. Please reach out to us with any questions!

Q: Will there be a dress code?
A: Yes. After gym shorts and tshirts for 2020 and 2021, I think we could use an excuse to get dressed up this year. Semi formal cocktail attire please.

Q: Will there be food and drinks?
A: Do you even know us? Of course! Let us know as soon as possible if you have any dietary restrictions. If you plan on enjoying the bar, please designate a driver or use a ridesharing service like Uber or Lyft.

Q: Will there be dancing/entertainment?
A: Yes and Yes.

Q: We will be coming from out of town. Where should we stay?
A: Awesome! There’s a cluster of hotels within a short walk/ride from the reception venue. See the Travel page for some recommendations and reach out to us if you have any questions!

Q: What about parking?
A: Parking is rather limited at both locations so we encourage those staying locally to carpool or use a ridesharing service. At the ceremony, street parking is recommended. At the reception, there will be a limited number of marked and prepaid spaces for our guests on the west side of the Cabrillo. Extra spaces may be available in the lot but it is shared with beachgoers and may be limited. If you use one of these extra spaces, please make sure to pay the meter.

Q: What’s the timeline for Saturday?
A: The start times for the ceremony and reception can be found on the private invitation page we sent you to RSVP in early July. There will be a brief gap in between the end of the ceremony and start of the reception. If you’re looking to kill some time, go visit the turtles at Alice Keck Park Memorial Garden across the street from the church or freshen up at your accommodation.

Q: Are the ceremony and reception indoors?
A: Yes, both venues are mostly indoors but the Cabrillo has two great oceanfront terraces for relaxing outside.

Q: What about COVID-19?
A: An email was sent out on 9/4 to each main guest via email with our COVID Safety Guidelines and new requirements for entry. Please review those details and get in contact with us if you have any questions or concerns.

As we continue to develop plans for the big day, we will be updating this FAQ.
